Job Name - GDS Consulting Aero, Defence & Mobility sector Leader

Position Summary     

The sector leader will lead EY GDS’s strategic initiatives and delivery  excellence across the Aerospace, Defence, and Mobility (ADM) sectors.  This role demands a visionary leader with deep industry expertise, strong  client engagement capabilities, and a proven track record in scaling global  delivery teams. This role will be responsible for driving growth, innovation,  and transformation across ADM engagements, collaborating with global EY teams and clients. 

 

Essential Functions of the job          

• Sector Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement ADM sector  strategy, build global relationships.
• Client Engagement & Delivery Excellence: Act as a lead for key  accounts, ensure quality and client satisfaction.
• Growth & Innovation: Identify emerging trends, embed innovation, and develop sector-specific assets.
• Talent Development: Mentor senior leaders, shape learning journeys, and foster a culture of agility.
• Governance & Risk Management: Establish governance frameworks and ensure compliance.

 

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities          

• Ability to define strategic priorities and translate them into actionable plans.
• Strong commercial acumen for evaluating growth opportunities.
• Skilled in navigating complex matrix organizations and influencing  senior stakeholders.
• Expertise in risk assessment and compliance for sensitive  engagements

 

Education & Experience        

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA  preferred.
• 18+ years in consulting for industry/sector roles within ADM sectors.
• Proven leadership experience in Big 4 or Tier-1 consulting  environment.
• Track record of managing global delivery teams and complex  engagements.

 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements            

• Deep domain knowledge in Aerospace, Defence, and Mobility sectors.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation, supply chain, and  sustainability.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Proven leadership in global delivery models and multi-disciplinary  teams.
