Roles & responsibilities ​

Process​

Design, develop, and maintain applications and RESTful APIs using Python to support data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows.​

Build and optimize ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.​

Work with relational databases such as SQL Server to manage and query data efficiently.​

Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.​

Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.​

Use Git and Azure DevOps for source control, task tracking, and CI/CD pipeline management.​

Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through testing and peer reviews.​

Document technical designs, processes, and best practices to support team knowledge sharing.​

 

Required Skills & Qualifications: (Must Have)​

1–2 years of hands-on experience in: ​

Python programming and REST API development​

Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks​

SQL Server and writing optimized queries​

Git and Azure DevOps​

Agile/Scrum development practices​

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and SDLC processes.​

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.​

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities​

BE/BTECH in computer information science​

​

Preferred Skills: (Nice to Have)​

Exposure to data lake architectures or multi-tenant environments​

Familiarity with data governance, security, and monitoring in Azure​

Experience with cloud-native design patterns and automation​

Azure certification(s).​

Basic experience with Alteryx for data preparation workflows​

Working knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting​

Relevant Azure Certifications such as: ​

Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)​

Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)​
