What you'll do:

  • Responsible in analyzing and monitoring of the operations and financial data which will have impact to the inventory, and work cross-functionally to trigger improvement plans.
  • Cross functional collaboration on inventory optimization across the APAC countries’ hubs/FSLs/remote sites to deliver the inventory targets and Inventory Holding Cost to budget. This will include E&O impact mitigations & Part Standard Revaluation impact mitigations
  • Partner with global, Geo and countries in the business execution processes related to inventory management (including analysis, optimization and velocity).
  • Partners with stakeholders to identify/implement opportunities or devise corrective action plans for business process improvement to effectively manage inventory holding costs and inventories to budget/target, integrate new and existing businesses, and adapt to changes in the business and regulatory environment.
  • Gather operation and financial data from multiple sources to provide detailed inventory movement information on a regular basis.
  • Reviews IHC performance on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Creates new operational efficiencies and cost savings within the supply chain on a broad scale using process improvement and policy development.
  • Independently executes the demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact.
  • APAC Program Management for new deployment/implementation. Oversees the development and delivery of complex initiatives that can impact the supply chain regionally/globally, typically requiring the leadership of cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
  • Contributes to priority projects with complex analyses and assists in developing recommendations.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
  • Excellent analytical and data modeling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Proven relationship and stakeholders management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong project management skills to lead cross-functional teams; recognized as Subject Matter Expert.
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
  • Good knowledge on spare parts inventory analysis
  • Good knowledge of SAP T-codes usage
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work/adapt to different time zones (e.g. Singapore/US time zone) where required
  • MS Access and Power BI knowledge desire

Critical Skills

  • SAP and SPM tool usage
  • Deep knowledge with Inventory management and Material costing
  • Attention to details
  • Possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to be able to connect the dots with operations and P&L implications.

Software & Tools required

  • Good MS Office skills: Excel, Access; Hyperion 
  • Experience with SAP software
  • BW reporting, and SPM knowledge
  • MS Access and Power BI knowledge desired


Education Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
  • Typically, 5 years of experience in a supply chain function, preferably with experience on inventory and Material costing domain.
