Job Description:
Role: HMI Software Developer/ Specialist Qt
Brief Job Description:
- Develop and maintain Qt-based HMI software using QML and C++ for Automotive Instrument Cluster or Infotainment systems.
Experience/ Skill Requirements:
- 3 to 9 years of experience with strong technical expertise in Qt-based Automotive HMI software development using QML and C++
- Good system level overview on technical software architecture for advanced Instrument Cluster and/or Infotainment systems
- Experience on automotive embedded platforms with RTOS environments based on Integrity (preferred)/ QNX/ Linux
- HMI Framework experience with wayland and layer manager knowledge
- Strong in performance optimization topics and in debugging complex HMI issues
- Good understanding of SDLC lifecycle and Agile delivery processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Fast learner who can quickly assimilate in-house HMI architectures, frameworks, tools and methods
Advanced knowledge of one or more of following topics would be desirable:
- Development of 3D HMI applications using Qt 3D and implementation of custom shaders
- Development of IVI middleware components based on GENIVI etc.
Educational Qualifications:
- BE/ B.Tech (Computer Science , Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecommunication), ME/ M.Tech)
