Job Description & Summary: We are looking for an experienced SharePoint professional with strong SPFx development expertise, hands-on experience in Classic-to-Modern SharePoint migration, and the ability to build Microsoft Copilot custom agents and extensions. The ideal candidate has worked with both SMB and Enterprise customers, understands governance, scalability, and best practices, and can deliver robust business solutions across the M365 ecosystem. 

Responsibilities: 

SharePoint Migration (Classic to Modern) 

• Lead end-to-end migration from Classic SharePoint sites/pages/lists to Modern Experience. 

• Transform Classic pages to Modern using: 

• Page Transformation Tool (PnP Modernization) 

• PnP PowerShell 

• Custom migration scripts 

• Analyze Classic site structures, customizations, workflows, and branding to determine modernization compatibility. 

• Migrate: 

• Classic publishing sites → Communication sites 

• Classic team sites → Modern team sites 

• Classic lists/libs → Modern lists/libs 

• Rebuild Classic customizations using: 

• SPFx 

• Extensions 

• Modern Theming 

• Site scripts & provisioning 

• Ensure content mapping, metadata consistency, IA restructuring, and delta migration planning. 

• Use tools like SPMT, Sharegate, Quest/Metalogix for inventory, migration, and validation. 

 

SPFx Development 

• Develop SPFx Web Parts, Extensions, Command Sets, using React, TypeScript, Fluent UI. 

• Build solutions are integrated with Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, PnP JS. 

• Implement multi-environment configs, CI/CD pipelines, versioning, and deployment using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions. 

• Ensure performance optimization, accessibility compliance, and responsive UX. 

 

Microsoft Copilot Development 

• Build custom Copilot Agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio. 

• Create custom topics, workflows, enterprise connectors, actions, and RAG-based data access. 

• Design Copilot extensions for M365/Teams and integrate with business systems. 

• Implement data grounding, guardrails, and responsible AI practices. 

• Work with Graph Connectors, SharePoint content, and external data sources. 

 

Cross-Platform Solutioning 

• Build integrated solutions using:  

• SharePoint Online 

• Teams 

• Power Automate, Power Apps 

• Azure Functions / Logic Apps 

• Develop secure APIs and implement authentication using Entra ID (Azure AD). 

Mandatory skill sets: 

SharePoint 

• Deep hands-on experience in Classic to Modern modernization,  

• Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, lists, libraries, content types, taxonomy. 

• Knowledge of SharePoint Classic Development  

SPFx Development 

• React, TypeScript, Node.js, Yeoman generator. 

• PnP JS, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs. 

• Modern UX uses Fluent UI. 

• CI/CD for SPFx solutions. 

Copilot  

• Custom Copilot agent development in Copilot Studio. 

• Prompt engineering, orchestration, secure data access. 

• RAG pipelines, grounding, connectors, and enterprise configuration. 

Migration Tools 

• SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) 

• Sharegate 

• Metalogix/Quest 

• PnP Modernization Framework 

Preferred skill sets: 

• Proficiency in Agentic AI  

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.  

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Years of experience required: 

•  5 + years of experience in designing and lead the implementation, management, and optimization of Microsoft SharePoint Online, Copilot Solutions and Business Applications 

Education qualification: 

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology 

• Certified in SharePoint Online, Power Platform and Copilot
