Roles and Responsibilities The primary function of the Cloud Operations MIS Report Analyst is to bridge the gap between technical cloud data and business intelligence. The key responsibilities of this role include: • Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering raw data from multiple cloud sources, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, to prepare both regular and ad-hoc reports. • Reporting and Visualization: Creating clear, visual, and insightful reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau to effectively present data to various stakeholders. • Operational Monitoring: Tracking essential cloud operations metrics, including system uptime, performance, and resource utilization, to identify potential issues or areas for improvement. • Cost Management: Analyzing and reporting on cloud expenditures to assist management in optimizing costs and monitoring budgets. • Automation: Developing and implementing automated reporting processes that reduce manual effort and ensure timely information delivery. • Quality Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data within the Management Information Systems (MIS). • Communication: Translating complex technical data and analyses into clear, concise insights for non-technical managers and diverse cross-functional teams.
