About Team:
The Information Security team has the herculean task of assuring that customers can safely shop with peace of mind knowing their data and information will be safe and secure. Solving some of the most unique cyber security problems in the industry, our team members share an elevated level of creativity and ingenuity to secure data for the largest retail operation in the world. Walmart continues to grow an elite Information Security team. Network Security is responsible for protecting our company's network from attacks. We are seeking a talented individual to assist us in the following areas:

 What you'll do:

• Responsible for designing and implementing perimeter security policies utilizing Next Generation technologies(FW/SDWAN/ZTNA)
• Integrate new systems and applications with existing environments.
• Assist with the decommission or migration of existing environments.
• Assist with vulnerability mitigation.
• Write operation documents as necessary describing base security requirements and architecture.
• Document policies and operating procedures.
• Participate Incident, Change management and On-call rotation

What you'll bring:

• 10+ years Hands of experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, Cisco ISE, SDWAN, ZTNA, Tipping Point and Wireless technologies.
• Expertise in NGFW and its methodologies. 
• Hands‑on experience integrating, deploying, or supporting DLP and/or CASB technologies in enterprise environments.
• Intermediate knowledge of networking concepts, including connectivity, segmentation, and service dependencies.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language to support automation and operational efficiency.( preferably Python and Ansible)
• Interest in AI systems and applied security problems
• Ability to utilize identity and access governance frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of PCI requirements pertaining to security, monitoring, and alerting.
• Good to have hands-on experience with any of the products including F5, Proxy, and Proofpoint
• Knowledge of network protocols, data flows, and vulnerabilities in a TCP/IP environment.
• Independent problem solver; self-directed, self-starter.
• Experience building and maintaining automated alerts and dashboards
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a small, cross-functional team
• Strong sense of accountability and self-motivation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly developed analytical abilities
