Job Summary:

 

The SAP DRC Solution Architect will be responsible for designing the end-to-end solution architecture for e-Invoicing, statutory reporting, and government integrations across multiple countries. This role demands deep functional, technical, and integration expertise in SAP DRC, SAP S/4HANA, tax processes, and external tax ecosystem.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Own the DRC solution roadmap, architecture, and implementation strategy.
• Lead multi-country e-Invoicing and statutory reporting rollouts using SAP DRC.
• Define architecture for inbound/outbound APIs, proxy services, BTP services, AIF, and SAP Integration Suite.
• Collaborate with tax SMEs, SAP functional areas, and technical teams to ensure end-to-end compliance.
• Design integration frameworks between SAP DRC, government portals, and external tax engines.
• Drive Fit-Gap analysis and ensure compliance with local country mandates.
• Review configurations, mapping, error handling, and system performance optimization.
• Provide governance, quality checks, and sign-off for solution design.
• Lead workshops with tax authorities, auditors, and client leadership teams.

 

 

Required Skills

 

• SAP DRC architecture expertise (e-Invoicing, E-Reporting, SAF-T, VAT returns, real-time reporting).
• Strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge in FI, SD, MM tax flows.
• Understanding of global compliance (Italy SDI, Mexico CFDI, India IRN, EU B2B mandates, Saudi ZATCA, etc.).
• Strong API, IDoc, BTP, CPI, Event Mesh understanding.
• Excellent client-facing and leadership skills.

 

Desirable Skills

 

• External tax engine experience: Vertex, Thomson Reuters, Avalara.
• Experience in multi-country tax digitalization projects.
• Prior consulting/Big 4 background.
