What you'll build:
We are looking for an IT Technology Services – Service Execution Operator with a strong technical background to work alongside the execution team to manage all the tasks which are pertaining to successful execution related operations of the Services Area.
- The role requies a global mindset since all our customers are spread across the globe and run critical business operations on the GCO systems hence availability and managing difficult situation is a key component of the job.
- Work on successfully delivering customer services through the execution of GCO standard services such as incidents , service requests , upgrades , backups and all related services which help to ensure customer business continuity on RISE platform.
- Build action plans and make operational decisions on policies, tactics, and critical sitautions ensuring function's business success, to ensure strategic delivery success
- Drive and deliver team’s established annual goals and develop frameworks to ensure critical key performance indicators for the team are met.
- Handle service escalations alongside managing critical situations like customer adhoc escalations , long term planning , volume and customer analysis.
- Handling customer escalations and difficult situations where the systems is disrupted or degraded through effective service delivery and services co-ordination.
- Co-ordinate delivery of services with Managed services model partners , Time and material or managed capacity partners and customers.
- Support operations of the global team based out of India , Mexico and Romania and ensure business critical results while driving innovation.
- Represent SAP in front of our customers and partners.
What you bring:
- Experience in a Expert position in the operational business , strategic thinking and conceptual design of complex projects & programs
- Experience in SAP Basis and or SAP Technologies and a deep understanding of SAP Setup and Hyperscaler Infrastructure and operations.
- Solid knowledge of IT and solution with good knowledge and experience in customer interaction.
- Experience in decision making within own area of responsibility / project.
- Expert level verbal and written English communication.
- Education - Bachelor / Master degree or equivalents in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field .
- Understanding about AI, Automation based operations is a plus.

Within the Global Cloud Operations (GCO) Delivery Services Area team runs is responsible for monitoring and front-line service delivery pertaining to OS, DB & SAP Apps (such as S/4 HANA) operations & support for our customers across multiple infrastructures - SAP DCs, AWS, Azure & GCP. As part of GCO you will be responsible for running customer landscapes around the globe in a 24x7 operations model. We manage a wide variety of business-critical SAP systems and applications in a global delivery model. We are responsible for building and operating customer systems for GCO.
