Job Description

Experience : 6 years to 8 years
Location : Bangalore (K R Puram)
Mode of work: Full time ( 5 days to office)

Must Have Skills: Java Springboot, Rest API, DevOps

Good to have skills: PostgreSQL, Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes

Key Responsibilities:

1.  Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
2. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Develop and support REST/SOAP APIs, backend services, and integrations with upstream/downstream systems.
4. Perform code development, unit testing, debugging, and defect fixing.
5. Review existing application design and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
6. Support production issues, incident analysis, root cause identification, and resolution.
7. Work on enhancements, change requests, and project delivery activities.
8. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation.
9. Coordinate with business teams, architects, QA teams, and support teams for successful delivery.
10. Support deployment, release validation, and post-implementation activities.
11. Ensure adherence to coding standards, security standards, and best practices.
12. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance when required.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

1. 6 to 8 years of experience in Java application development and support.
2. Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
3. Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs / web services.
4. Good knowledge of microservices architecture.
5. Strong experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
6. Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
7. Knowledge of design patterns, coding standards, and secure coding practices.
8. Experience in production support, incident handling, and root cause analysis.
9. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, and deployment processes.
10. Experience in working with application servers and middleware platforms.
11. Good understanding of integration patterns and interfacing with external systems.
12. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
13. Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
