Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features for the application
  • Lead QA efforts and perform other assigned duties
  • Test app performance, usability, and hardware/software compatibility
  • Participate and lead in the release processes
  • Document/prioritize bugs and requested features as required
  • Help guide the product roadmap, design, and architecture

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Demonstrated React experience (React Native is a huge plus)
  • Strong knowledge and experience with React, JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS
  • Experience with back-end resources such as AWS and Heroku
  • Experience using Git/GitHub with high levels of version control knowledge
  • Designing and/or implementing APIs for mobile and desktop applications
  • Good understanding of how an app should flow
  • Ability to recognize bottlenecks and errors in current code
  • Experience working within rapid development cycles and tight schedules
  • Impeccable attention to detail on every line of code, unit test, and commit messages
  • Track record of shipping applications to both the Apple and Google Play Stores
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Node, Flowtype, xCode, Swift, Android Studio, Eclipse, and SaaS is an added advantage
