Job Title: Lead Developer - Automation CoE

About the role:

•  Own and be accountable for smooth and effective delivery of tactical process transformation automation solutions as per book of work.

• Ensure the timely delivery and accuracy of planned automation solutions.

• Ensure the right capabilities & certifications are in place for smooth automation delivery.

Role Responsibilities: (TE)

•  Contribute as key member of Python Automation Centre of Excellence (COE) to develop, deploy custom automation solutions in Python.

• Individual contributor developing solutions in agreement with the enterprise architecture, using the approved technology stack (Python, Azure etc).

• Ability to develop test scripts, conduct security vulnerability tests, integration tests, performance testing with Sonar Cloud (SAST Tools).

• Adhere to the existing policy guidelines wrt software development, deployment, change management.

• Version control code through tools in Repos to promote maintenance and re-usage.

• Understanding of Agile Software development methodology is desirable.

• Experience of having successfully engaged, motivated, and influenced a variety of stakeholders in multiple geographies and cultures is desirable.

• Insufficient Technical expertise and experience

• Lack of technical knowledge and/or process improvement orientation

• Inability to identify and deliver process and / or technical solutions to business requirements

• Inability to communicate optimally and manage key business stakeholders

Experience / skills required:

•  Job holder will have been educated to atleast graduate level (10+2+4)

• Very good flair with communication, excellent command of English – both written and spoken (all communications activities are carried out with very high standard is needed.)

• Min 4 to 7 years of autonomous build development (Python Executables) and deployment of custom software and solution in a Technology organization within shared service delivery environment.

• “Bachelor’s Degree,” in Engineering, Science, Statistic, Mathematics, or equivalent with minimum Pass in Graduation.

• Good Experience in building up a new automation solution with below stack is required.

• Language: Python (essential), JavaScript ES6 (essential)

• Python Libraries: NumPy, Pandas, (essential & very important)

• Framework & Integration: Flask, Django

• Database: MySQL, Azure SQL Server

• Networking: SSH, TCP/IP, FTP/SFTP, HTTP/ HTTPS, Sockets engineering

• Cloud: Azure Fundamentals, Azure Pipelines / CICD, Functions, App Service etc.

• Security Scanning: Sonar Cloud or SonarQube is desirable.

Flexible Working options / Travel requirements :

For this role we anticipate the percentage of flexible time to be between 0 - 25 percent due to onshore / offshore discussion.  Pattern of onshore / offshore discussion will be dependent on the needs of the individual projects or its phases.
