Lead Front engineer

Labcorp is seeking a Front Engineer to Join our team who can work in hybrid model working from Bangalore office.

Work Schedule:

Candidate is required to follow the work schedule of 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain highly responsive and interactive user interfaces using Angular (v10+).
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and modern JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across multiple devices and platforms.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver cohesive products.
• Develop and maintain component libraries and reusable UI components.
• Implement REST API integrations and ensure secure, maintainable client-side logic.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a UI / Frontend Developer.
• Frontend (Must-Have) - 3+ years of hands-on experience in Angular (version 2+) development.
• 2+ years of Strong expertise in: TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, SASS / SCSS
• 2 years of Experience with state management libraries such as: NgRx, RxJS
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in backend development using: Java, Spring Boot
• 2+ years of experience with RESTful services development.
• 1+ years of experience working with Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.
• 2+ years of experience and strong proficiency in TypeScript.

Additional Job Standards:

Technical Expertise:

• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of data persistence technologies such as: Hibernate, MongoDB, SQL
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks effectively.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as Angular and React.

Development

• Solid understanding of component-based architecture.
• Ability to design reusable, scalable UI components.
• Experience building maintainable front-end architectures.

Integration & Collaboration

• Ability to integrate UI with REST APIs and backend services.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including UX, backend, and QA.

Performance & Quality

• Optimize applications for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive UI behavior.
• Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code.
