Boeing IDT&S team is currently looking for a Lead Product Owner to join their team in Bengaluru, KA.

Position Responsibilities:

The Product Owner / Test Lead is responsible for defining product requirements, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring software quality through structured manual testing. This role bridges business needs, development execution, and quality assurance by translating customer and stakeholder expectations into actionable user stories and validating delivered functionality against acceptance criteria.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements.
• Define and maintain the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly written, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and release scope definitions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, developers, and QA teams to clarify requirements and expectations.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Make scope decisions and provide timely clarification on product functionality.
• Support release planning and ensure business readiness for deployment.
• Develop and maintain manual test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements and user stories.
• Lead manual functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing efforts.
• Execute and coordinate test cycles, track defects, and verify fixes.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with requirements and business risk.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and releases.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 12+ years of IT experience
• Proven experience as a Product owner or a test lead
• Proven experience in product development lifecycle
• Experience with SAFe agile development methodologies and tools (e.g. ADO).
• Ability to learn and adopt new tools and processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
