Lead Product Manager - Platform & Integrations
Pearson India Education Services Pvt LtdJob Description
Lead specialist, Product Management
Role: Lead Specialist, Product Management
Location: Bangalore (On-site)
We are seeking a customer‑centric Product Manager to lead product management for Credly and its enterprise integration ecosystem within Pearson’s ELS portfolio. This role focuses on scaling and evolving Credly as a platform product, enabling seamless integrations with learning, talent, and assessment systems used by enterprise and institutional customers.
This is a highly cross‑functional product role, working at the intersection of platform capabilities, API‑driven integrations, and enterprise customer needs. You will partner closely with engineering, architecture, UX, commercial, and customer success teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable integrations that drive adoption and business value.
The role is ideal for a Product Manager who thrives in B2B / B2B2C environments, understands platform and integration products, and can translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and roadmap for Credly’s integrations and platform capabilities, aligned to ELS and broader Pearson strategy.
- Define and prioritise APIs, partner integrations, and platform features that enable Credly to integrate seamlessly with LMS, HRIS, talent, and assessment ecosystems.
- Partner with enterprise customers, internal stakeholders, and partners to understand integration requirements, workflows, and constraints.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, platform architecture, and security teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and compliant integration solutions.
- Work with UX and design to ensure simple, intuitive experiences for administrators, partners, and developers.
- Lead and contribute to a cross‑functional delivery squad, ensuring product outcomes are delivered with quality and predictability.
- Use data, customer insights, and adoption metrics to inform prioritisation and iteration.
- Support go‑to‑market and commercial teams by providing product input for customer conversations, solution positioning, and sales enablement.
- Communicate a clear and compelling product narrative that articulates Credly’s platform value, integration strategy, and enterprise impact.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management experience, preferably working on platform, integration, or SaaS products.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with engineering and technical teams, including API‑first or integration‑heavy products.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments, including enterprise customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Strong understanding of B2B or B2B2C product delivery models.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and make informed trade‑offs.
Skills & Strengths
- Strong customer‑focused mindset, with the ability to translate enterprise needs into clear product outcomes.
- Comfortable working on platform capabilities rather than purely end‑user features.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to align technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Analytical and data‑informed, with a focus on measurable impact and adoption.
- Familiarity with learning, credentials, talent, or skills ecosystems is desirable but not required.
Why Join Us
- Influence the evolution of Credly as a global digital credentials platform.
- Work on products that sit at the heart of Pearson’s enterprise and partner ecosystem.
- Collaborate with experienced teams across product, engineering, and commercial functions.
- Make a tangible impact on how skills and credentials are recognised and shared globally.
