Scrum Master - Agile Project Manager

KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join its team. You will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting agile teams, ensuring efficient and effective execution of AI projects. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. 

Key responsibilities include:
1) Team Engagement/ Project Execution:
• Conduct and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and other agile events.
• Identify and proactively address any roadblocks that hinder team's progress. Work with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth execution.
• Mentor/ coach the team on agile principles and practices. Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members to drive high performance.
• Monitor sprint progress, identify potential risks, and report on key metrics to stakeholders.

2) Product/ Project Roadmap & Lifecycle:
• Collaborate with Product Manager/ Product Owners to define, refine, and manage the product development roadmap & lifecycle.
• Help prioritize product features based on business impact, risk, and dependencies.
• Participate in release planning activities, ensuring alignment with product roadmap and business objectives.

3) Continuous Improvement:
• Continuously assess and improve team’s processes and practices. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance team’s effectiveness.
• Stay abreast of the latest Agile methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in training, workshops, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills in team management and agile methodologies.

4) Reporting & Communication:
• Establish effective reporting & status updates for both internal & executive stakeholders.
• Foster open and transparent communication within the team and with stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications 
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus

Work Experience
• 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, preferably within an AI/ML or software development context.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and other frameworks.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, preferably in a global or multi-disciplinary environment.
• Understanding of AI/ML technologies, including Gen AI, Deep Learning, Neural Networks is a plus.
• Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, PSM) are a plus.

Skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent facilitation and coaching skills.
• Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and ability to promote continuous improvement culture.
• Proficiency in Scrum/ Agile development methodologies and experience in leading Agile product teams.
• Proficiency in using project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar).
