Manager

Roles & responsibilities

Support and supervise the team and influence development of the processes to provide iPLAN support through initial go live, embedding change under Empowered and establish the basis for transition to a long term BAU solution. Provide capability expertise and direction as required.
Influence and support the team in that supports initial Code set up post upload where role and risk security require independent review.
Influence and support the team in support for actioning addition of / amendment of incremental services post upload (25% freq across all engagements) where level of support and ambiguity requires it. Provide capability expertise and direction as required.
Provide capability expertise and direction to support and supervise the team in support for any SAP corrections led by upload failures where role and risk security require independent review.
Provide capability expertise and direction to support and supervise the team which develops, maintains and operates the process for progressing loaded commercial plans (from iPLAN upload) through the stages of ‘In Contract Prep’ and move into ‘In Execution’
Provide capability expertise and direction to support and supervise the team which develops, maintains and operates the processes for risk and security checks via CRM and other systems to be able to move loaded commercial plans into the correct statuses in SAP.
Provide capability expertise and direction to support and supervise the team which communications any corrective actions or challenges around loaded projects in SAP to ensure that EM/EL’s correct or achieve the supporting sign offs needed to progress into ‘In execution’
Input and influence overarching operational and control processes (alongside the Commercial Planning process owner) for SNOW tickets. Processes defined to update and communicate actions to EM/ELs and other teams.
Input into overarching operational and control processes through initial go live, embedding change under Empowered and establish the basis for transition to a long term BAU solution.
Provide capability expertise and direction to support and supervise the team which develops, maintains and operates the steps for completion of Code set up in line with the defined processes and controls.
Provide capability expertise and direction to support and supervise the team which develops, maintains and operates the processes for adding additional or amending existing services on a project loaded into SAP under defined support criteria.
Provide capability expertise and direction to support and supervise the team which develops, maintains and operates the processes for managing data gaps and upload failures to ensure complete and robust financial base line plans for all projects within SAP.
Provide capability expertise and direction to support and supervise the team which communicates directly with EM/EL’s as required on additional information and steps required to complete a full and accurate financial plan within SAP – meeting business rigor and Empowered / SAP data requirements.
Contribute to the development of Capability specific guidelines and FAQs; ensuring that knowledge is shared and socialised via the Capability Focal points, EM/EL’s and wider Commercial Planning Support team

Automation and Efficiency: Lead efforts to automate reporting processes and incorporate generative AI tools to enhance efficiency, standardization, and innovation in financial analysis.
Skill Development in Analytics Platforms: Enhance proficiency in emerging data analytics platforms, adapting reports to improve efficiency and insight generation.

 

Team and Stakeholder Engagement:

Stakeholder Management: Engage effectively with stakeholders, delivering analytical insights that align financial objectives with business strategies, including real-time support to stakeholders starting at 2 PM IST.
Team Leadership: Manage the finance team by setting clear goals, conducting performance appraisals, and fostering a culture focused on continuous learning and analytical excellence.
Training and Best Practices: Lead training sessions to develop analytical skills within the team, sharing best practices, including the use of generative AI, to enhance overall capabilities.
Investment Evaluation: Analyze open accounts receivable, bad debts, and cash flow metrics to provide leadership with insights that support the firm’s liquidity.
