Manager - Delivery Manager

 Roles & responsibilities 
Role Overview: 
The Delivery Manager leads end‑to‑end execution of multiple medium‑ to large‑scale projects, providing strategic direction, ensuring governance compliance, and managing risks. The role oversees stakeholder coordination, reports on the full build lifecycle, and manages onboarding activities with HR and related teams. Also, the Delivery Manager resolves cross‑team blockers, supervises build automation tools and processes, monitors build performance, troubleshoots issues, and delivers weekly development progress updates.        
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely reporting of software builds.
Manage the on boarding process; coordinate closely with HR and Onboarding departments.
Coordinate between development, QA, and Solutions team to understand blockers and help implement solution.
Implement and maintain build automation tools and processes.
Monitor build performance and troubleshoot issues.
Weekly Development progress reporting.
Drive outcomes aligned to portfolio goals, balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to maximize business value.
Collaborate across product, engineering, architecture, QA, and vendor teams to remove blockers and ensure end-to-end delivery.
Establish transparent status, risks, and dependencies; escalate early and enable timely decision-making through data-driven reporting.
Oversee build automation tooling and processes; coordinate cross-team onboarding and delivery readiness.
Track development progress and drive resolution of blockers with engineering, QA, and solutions teams.
Prepare high-quality dashboards, KPI summaries, project health reports, and executive-level updates.
Ensure data accuracy across systems and provide meaningful insights for leadership decision-making.

Lead end‑to‑end delivery of projects or programs, ensuring on‑time, within‑scope, and on‑budget execution. 
Define delivery plans, milestones, resource needs, and success metrics. 
Drive alignment across portfolio goals, ensuring business value, quality, and risk management.
Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, architecture, and vendor teams to manage dependencies and remove blockers. 
Communicate effectively with global stakeholders and leadership teams on progress, risks, and decision needs. 
Facilitate cross‑team discussions to ensure clarity on requirements, priorities, and technical feasibility.
Establish transparent reporting mechanisms covering status, risks, issues, and dependencies. 
Escalate concerns early and support data‑driven decision‑making. 
Ensure compliance with organizational governance standards, delivery frameworks, and audit requirements.
Coordinate onboarding of new team members with HR and onboarding departments. 
Support team productivity by resolving resource gaps, aligning priorities, and removing delivery obstacles. 
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Analyze delivery performance and implement process optimizations.
Ensure delivery outcomes align with customer expectations and business priorities. 
Validate that releases meet acceptance criteria, performance standards, and user experience requirements. 
Maintain focus on maximizing ROI and supporting long-term product strategy

Mandatory  technical & functional skills
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills across business and technology teams.
Proficiency with SDLC controls and project delivery frameworks; familiarity with PMLC governance.
Build automation tooling and pipelines; onboarding coordination; delivery reporting.
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) for tracking requirements, test cases, and delivery.
Familiarity with Clarity or similar enterprise PPM tools for status and financial reporting.
Understanding of cloud-first, API-first patterns and DevOps/Continuous Delivery practices.

 

 This role is for you if you have  the below
Educational qualifications 
B. Tech (Computer Science / Information Technology) OR 
MBA (Systems/ IT/Finance/ Data & Analytics/ SCM) along with Engineering (Computer Science, IT) OR
MCA (Master’s in Computer Applications) 
Work experience
7–12 years of experience in IT project management or PMO roles
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
Expertise in tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
