Manager - Design Quality Standards

Key Responsibilities

 

• Define Test Standards: Collaborate with design teams to determine testing parameters and create comprehensive test plans and cases
• Design Verification & Validation (V&V) Test Standards: Prepare rigorous testing (functional, performance, and durability) against engineering specifications and global safety standards
• Risk Management: Support risk assessments, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and reliability modelling during the product development lifecycle and update lesson learnt in Test Standards
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure the product's design meets regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, FDA, or IEEE standards depending on the industry)
• Automation & Tools: Design and implement automated test solutions to replace manual efforts where possible, ensuring data-driven, scalable testing
• Root Cause Analysis: Troubleshoot failures, analyse post-market data, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product performance by updating test standards

 

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as QMS Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
• Testing and validation background in E/E, BIW, Electric Drive Train etc.
