Job Title: Manager - Mechanical Design Engineer

Years of exp: 12 - 15 Years

Role Overview:

Lead the design and development of mechanical system, components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with global standards and driving innovation in product performance, cost optimization, and reliability. This role combines technical leadership, strategic planning, and team management to deliver high-quality solutions for complex mechanical systems.The role involves concept generation, detailed design, prototyping, testing, and supporting manufacturing processes.

On a typical day you will:

1) Design & Development

• System architecture, duty table, system analysis,
• Create 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo).
• Develop mechanical components considering strength, durability, manufacturability, and cost.

2) Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure all designs meet safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate design documentation and change management through PLM systems.

3) Act as technical lead for mechanical systems and technical documentation .

4)Responsible for the complete product lifecycle including design, development and testing of mechanical components / Assemblies etc.

5)Understanding and performing FMEA, RRCA to FTB’s (Field Turn Backs) Preparation of Test Plan for System & Component qualification plan for the mechanical components and sub-systems.

What you will need to be successful:

• Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical
• Experience: 12-15 Years in in Mechanical Engineering of product design & development respectively.
• Experience on CREO and AUTOCAD/E3
