Manager - Tax TMT

• Assisiting partners in building and developing the CIT Taxtax practice
• Attaining specialized knowledge in the CIT Tax industry segments and assisting senior management in the business development effort on such industries including generation of business for other  service lines other then Tax
• Independently managing the various client projects / assignments including resource allocation and client billings.
•  Responsible for achieving targeted net firm revenue and proactively undertake business development
• Active involvement in project management - from understanding the client needs up to delivering the end product to the client
• Assisting partners in developing the CIT Tax tax team including hiring / resource planning and managing the team ‘s performance
• Contributing to newspaper articles, knowledge management presentations etc. in respect of the above subjects
• People development – imparting training and coaching them on the job
• Ability to work across lines of services and provide holistic service offerings to client needs
• Building good rapport and working relationship with key client contacts
• Lead the management in risk compliance, internal reporting and client administration
• Ensuring 100% compliance with firm's internal risk manangement policies and client administration
• Proactively volunteer to take up / lead practice related initiatives viz; technical training sessions, firm events, etc.
• Managing income-tax and regulatory advisory assignments including advise on tax and regulatory implications for existing business structures and identifying tax planning opportunities for clients through alternative structures / tax positions
• Responsible for finalization of appeals to be filed before Comissioner of Income-tax Appeals and Income-tax Appellate Tribunal and Representing clients at Departments/ Appellate authorities
• Providing advise on Corporate tax laws and regulatory matters
• Adhering to clients Corporate Tax compliance timelines as per statute
• Responsible for overall review of tax provisioning and tax audit finalization for audit clients in CIT Taxindustry
• Assisting clients in briefing Tax Counsels in relation to appeals before the Appellate Tribunal / Courts, etc
