Job Requirements
Interface to customer, PM, S&OP, Purchasing, DM, and cross-BU Planning community
• Forecasting customer demand and work with sales for stocking & planning
• Drive improvement projects related to STR improvement, inventory/freight cost reduction and LT reduction
• Develop material flow value streams and work with Sales and ME teams to optimize supply chains
• Generate reports, analyses reasons for shortfall, develop systems and install procedures/processes to
achieve the targets
• Escalate matters of importance inside and outside the plant and ensure results
• Conduct reviews on daily/weekly basis on MPS, material availability and production completion on time.
• Review exception messages and ensure actions to resolve the same
• Define procedures, stabilize processes for material ordering, order acknowledgement, tracking in transit
material and arrival
• Plan and execute production and manage inventory (Reconciliation reports from Subcons)
• Circulate the inventory report weekly to all MRP controllers and arrive at the inventory levels for the next
three months
• Check for inventory on hand, and ensure that inventory turns are maintained as per the target
• Development of parts as well as suppliers within the expected time frame, Required quick turnaround time
for NPD projects
• Arrange for forecast and Planned Order Trading (POT) from customers. Review the demand and arrange
for PIR in SAP as required
• Review Forecast accuracy level to improve
What your background should look like
Bachelor of Engineering or Equivalent
Minimum 5-6 years of relevant Experience
SAP knowledge is Must
