Role Description
In accordance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, banks, such as Deutsche Bank AG, are obliged to perform Know-Your-Client (KYC) reviews on all new clients they adopt and periodic reviews of these clients as per their risk category.
The NLS Operations team is a global function supporting all NLS Businesses & Infrastructure teams operating within KYC Ops. As part of the NLS Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the RTB activities & Governance framework of this function. The responsibilities will include creating, monitoring, tracking of controls & metrics and source feeds to ensure they are complete, accurate & timely.

Your key responsibilities
Monitoring, attesting, standardization and ensuring completeness of source feeds, putting in place robust controls / metrics to identify any disconnects and isolating root causes
Manage Data Quality Completeness breakages to a timely resolution with Stakeholders across Businesses & Infrastructure Areas
Ensuring Governance framework is adhered to
Ability to efficiently communicate complex and lengthy data into effective & concise mgmt. information
Provide inputs and explains into monthly formal Governance forum(s)
Provide monthly Key Performance Reporting for management
Manage key communication regarding data not in compliance with standards
Work effectively with key stakeholders using strong influencing skills to ensure the mutually satisfactory resolution of key issues and that the respective responsibilities are understood, agreed, and escalated where required
Identify ‘red flag’ situations and escalate in line with Deutsche Bank policies and procedures
Support review and communication with internal Audit, Controls, and Embedded Risk Team
Ensure that risks and concerns are recorded and escalated as appropriate
Your skills and experience
Experience of working in dynamic Operations teams with a core background of designing & maintaining controls in the financial services industry
Positive and “Can-Do” attitude to resolving business issues
Problem-solving & critical thinking skills
Minimum of intermediate level Excel & Powerpoint skills required
Effective written & verbal communication with the ability to work to high standards and under strong time constraints in both a sole and team-wide perspective;
Attention to detail, with the ability to think laterally around issues, proposing solutions where required
A high level of interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders, providing support and coaching to them in their role in the change effort; strong leadership and the ability to reach across multiple senior stakeholders to find common ground
Excellent personal organization and prioritization skills along with excellent verbal and written skills in English
How You’ll Lead
Active participation in Governance forums globally to support oversight for completion and data integrity
Lead Working Groups to ensure critical decisions impacting the business are addressed and constraints to success are removed, informing mgmt. of issues and remediation plans
Assist with maintenance of key operating documents, communication regarding files, process changes, as applicable
