Your key responsibilities

• Act as the first line of defence for all BAU collateral management activities, ensuring accurate and timely daily processing into Collateral system.
• Engage directly with counterparties, custodians and internal stakeholders to resolve margin disputes, breaks and settlement issues.
• Security pricing to ensure correct collateral valuation.
• Performing reconciliation between various books of accounts, reporting and investigation of breaks by providing well narrated updates.
• Daily compare and reconciliation of Contracts with various brokers.
• Liaising with clients/ prime brokers for any issue with Contract Reconciliation.
• Liaising with Trading Desk and resolving Complex Reconciliation breaks.
• Reconciliation and validation of billing invoices.
• Ensuring high value breaks are resolved on time to avoid risk.
• Claiming funds on receipt from broker.
• Control check while releasing payment to avoid incorrect amount being to be paid to client.
• Billing, returns & recalls on Equities & Bonds.
• MIS Reporting to senior Management on weekly basis fixed income settlements Broker Pre – Matching &Settlements:
• Teams work profile involved Pre- matching of Bonds trades stock trades
• Escalation of discrepancies to various desks & Front Office for timely settlements there-by avoiding fails.
• MTM process to avoid exposures & inaccurate projections
• Trade amendments to avoid CSDR (Central Securities Depositories Regulation) penalties
• SFTR (Securities Financing Transaction Regulation) exceptions & configuration on vendors for new clients
• Monitoring all post trade recon control checks
• Adherence to TAT is of utmost importance.
• Support a culture of operational excellence, accuracy and accountability within the team

Your skills and experience

• Knowledge in Securities Lending & or Collateral Management, Min 5 years of people management for Associate role

We are looking for:  

• Proven experience in Asset Management Operations, ideally within Collateral Management and/or Securities Lending / Repo Operations  
• Good understanding of margining concepts, collateral workflows and end‑to‑end trade lifecycle management  
• First experience working with external vendors, tri‑party agents or custodians, including service oversight and issue resolution.
