Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or SaaS applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing application releases, ensuring system stability, and adapting features to optimize performance. The engineer works closely with various teams to align solutions with organizational goals, utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to maintain compatibility and seamless operation across systems. Continuous monitoring and proactive adjustments are part of daily activities to deliver reliable and efficient application services.

- Expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
- Required active participation and contribution in team discussions.

- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal system functionality.
- Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records to support knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices to foster professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management within ServiceNow environments.
- Ability to utilize APIs and low-code platforms for application customization and integration.
- Experience in managing software releases and ensuring system stability in SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and performance optimization for packaged applications.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
