As a Physical Design Engineer, a typical day involves transforming logical circuit schematics into detailed physical layouts while focusing on optimizing critical factors such as area, power consumption, and timing performance. The role includes executing placement and routing tasks, as well as synthesizing clock trees to ensure the design adheres to stringent timing and manufacturing requirements. Collaboration with timing and verification teams is essential to identify and resolve any physical design challenges prior to the tape-out stage, ensuring a seamless transition from design to production. Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Physical Design.
- Strong knowledge of placement and routing methodologies within integrated circuit design.
- Experience with clock tree synthesis and timing closure techniques.
- Familiarity with design for manufacturability and design rule checks.
- Ability to analyze and optimize power, area, and timing trade-offs in physical layouts.
- Competence in using electronic design automation tools relevant to physical design.

- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
