The opportunity

Join EY GDS’s Transformation Design & Execution team to help US clients bridge strategy and execution through data-driven solutions and agile delivery. In this role, you will contribute to the setup and enhancement of project governance structures and enable capabilities such as dashboard development, workflow automation, project tracking, and reporting using tools like Power BI, Tableau, PowerApps, Power Automate, JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Project Online. You will support agile ceremonies and PMO operations, drive performance reporting, and deliver intuitive, scalable solutions that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions and realize business value.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering technology-enabled solutions that support project tracking, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with business users and project teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, user-friendly dashboards, workflows, and configurations using Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate), JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Project Online.

You will be responsible for:

• Configure and manage JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO) boards, workflows, and integrations to support project tracking and reporting.
• Set up and maintain Project Online configurations to support project tracking and reporting needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
• Build and automate workflows using Power Automate and custom apps using PowerApps.
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and user-friendly design in all deliverables.
• Provide support and training to end-users on Power Platform tools and dashboards.
• Drive end-to-end project governance including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Manage project timelines, risks, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Facilitate regular status reporting, stakeholder communication, and executive updates.
• Support resource planning and allocation across multiple workstreams.
• Ensure adherence to project management standards, templates, and best practices.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones

To Qualify for the Role

Must Haves

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–8 years of hands-on experience in delivering technology-enabled solutions using:
• PMO experience is a must
• Project Delivery: Exposure to agile methodologies and PMO practices, including project tracking, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate)
• Project Online setup and administration
• Client Engagement: Proven ability to work directly with business users and project stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions, and support ongoing enhancements.
• Time Flexibility: Willingness to support collaboration across US time zones.

Good to have

• Certifications: PMI/Prince 2, Microsoft Power Platform certification.
• Experience with SharePoint for collaboration, data storage, and dashboard embedding.
