Principal Architect – Platform Innovation Digital Health

Summary of Position:

We are seeking a Principal Architect to drive the design, delivery, and scaling of advanced digital capabilities across our products and platforms. This role combines strong systems architecture thinking, a product mindset, and the ability to engage stakeholders, manage risk, and ensure compliance in a regulated environment.

You will work within a cross-functional innovation POD (engineering, data, product, QA, and business partners), translating business opportunities into scalable, value-driven capabilities while ensuring architectural soundness, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Innovation & POD Leadership

• Lead and inspire a cross-functional POD, setting technical direction and delivery approach for advanced platform initiatives.

• Define high-impact use cases aligned with product strategy, business value, and measurable outcomes.

• Drive experimentation (POCs) through to production-grade solutions, ensuring operational readiness and adoption.

Solution Architecture

• Own end-to-end solution architecture, including data flows, APIs, integration patterns, and cloud infrastructure.

• Ensure scalability, reliability, maintainability, and observability of solutions.

• Partner with security, platform, and infrastructure teams to align with enterprise standards.

Intelligent Capabilities

• Design and integrate intelligent and automated capabilities, including modern retrieval approaches, advanced data processing, and large-model-based techniques where they provide clear value.

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear solution designs and trade-offs.

Product, Stakeholder & Compliance Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong product and value mindset, focusing on adoption and ROI.

• Communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Embed risk management, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance by design.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in solution or systems architecture within complex environments.

• Strong experience with cloud-native platforms, APIs, and microservices.

• Hands-on exposure to modern intelligent system patterns (e.g., retrieval techniques, embeddings, prompt-driven workflows).

• Experience leading cross-functional teams or PODs.

• Strong communication skills and experience in regulated environments are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience scaling innovative capabilities from POC to enterprise adoption.

• Familiarity with governance and responsible practices for intelligent systems.
