Principal Performance Test Engineer (Fusion Load Testing)

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

As a Principal Support Engineer, you will offer strategic technical support to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction. A primary focus is to create/utilize automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve/avoid customer issues. You are expected to be an expert member of the technical problem solving/problem avoidance team, routinely sought after to address extremely complex, critical customer issues. Services may be frequently provided by on-site customer visits.

Experience Level: 8 to10+ years relevant working experience

Qualification: BE, BTech, MCA or equivalent preferred. Other qualifications with adequate experience may be considered.

• Take Senior role and the responsibility includes understanding & perform various components Load/performance testing, system testing and non-functional testing.
• Gather Performance Non Functional Requirements
• Create and review Performance Test Plan
• Develop performance Test Script as per Transaction flow document using OATS 
• Automate load testing using any of the lead testing tools like OATS, Load runner etc.,
• Should have good debugging skills. 
• Creating Load Test Cases, designing the orchestration, executing them.
• Experience of OATS load testing protocols
• Application Knowledge in Oracle Fusion (All modules), Web-Based application & expertise in Oracle applications
• Hands on debugging skills.
• 8 to 10+ years of relevant experience
• Good experience in  OLT /Open Script - Test Management Tools
• Developing a Web Based Application Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Traceability Matrix.
• Ability to work with the functional team to coordinate all testing efforts.
• Adopt innovative technologies and best practices to solve complicated challenges.
• Ability to learn new technologies, improve skills and develop yourself.
• Take responsibility of training and mentoring team members.

Primary Skills:

1. Experienced as Testing Tech Lead of Oracle Fusion SaaS Applications. Performance Testing Experience is must (OATS/ Load Runner)
2. Helps Formulate & develop effective Test Architecture (Manual/ Automated/ Load) per organizational needs
3. Responsible for Test Strategy formulation
4. Extensive Technical skills covering Product, Technologies and Competitive  
5. Software Analysis & Design knowledge/experience
6. Solid background in Software Quality & Testing with wide expertise in Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS), QTP, Winrunner etc.
7. Hands-on experience to perform and review both functional and non-functional testing and its outputs
8. Technically responsible for all the Testing performed by the Team
9. Technical Leadership and Strategic Direction to the Testing Team.
10. Take responsibility of training and mentoring team members.

 

 Secondary & Automation Skills:

1. Basic knowledge in any one software programming like Python, Shell scripting, PERL
2. Basic knowledge on any one Web development, languages like HTML, CSS, Jscript, REST framework etc., will be an added advantage
3. Specialist in any one area or technology such as Saas Fusion Apps, EBSO, PeopleSoft, Hyperion, JD Edwards etc,
4. Knowledge of current industry wide Quality & Test processes and practices, Tools and techniques
5. Solution-oriented and creative thinker.
