Job Description:

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to define and execute the product strategy for our Unified Hybrid FinOps platform. This strategic role will help shape the future of how enterprises manage cloud financial operations, engineering investments, and AI-driven decision making across hybrid cloud environments.

Working closely with Product Leadership, Engineering, AI Platform teams, Finance, Cloud Operations, and Customer Success, you will drive the convergence of Cloud FinOps, VCF Operations (VCFOps), Software Portfolio Management (SPM), DevOps, and Agentic AI into a unified enterprise platform that delivers measurable business value.

This role will partner closely with Product leadership to define the long-term vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy while ensuring successful execution across globally distributed engineering teams.

What You'll Do

Define Product Strategy

• Define and evolve the product vision and multi-year roadmap for the ValueOps Financial Intelligence platform.

• Identify market opportunities that connect Cloud FinOps, AI, engineering productivity, and software portfolio management.

• Translate customer needs, competitive insights, and business priorities into product strategy and execution plans.

• Develop product positioning and value propositions for enterprise customers.

Lead AI-Driven Product Innovation

Drive AI-powered capabilities including:

• Intelligent cloud cost optimization

• AI-powered budgeting and forecasting

• Capacity planning recommendations

• Investment prioritization

• Tokenomics and consumption analytics

• Engineering productivity insights

• Executive decision support

• Autonomous FinOps recommendations

• AI copilots and Agentic AI experiences

Partner with AI engineering teams to define capabilities leveraging LLMs, AI Agents, MCP, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and enterprise knowledge platforms.

Drive Unified Hybrid FinOps

Own product capabilities across:

• Public Cloud FinOps

• Private Cloud Financial Management

• VMware Cloud Foundation Operations (VCFOps)

• Hybrid Cloud Cost Management

• Kubernetes Cost Visibility

• Showback / Chargeback

• Cloud Resource Optimization

• Budget Planning

• Forecasting

• Consumption Analytics

• Executive Dashboards

• Business Value Reporting

Partner Across ValueOps

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Success to connect strategy with execution through:

• Software Portfolio Management (SPM)

• Strategic Investment Planning

• Agile Planning

• Value Stream Management

• Engineering Analytics

• Capacity Planning

• Financial Portfolio Management

• Business Outcome Tracking

Execute Product Delivery

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through general availability.

• Prioritize product investments based on customer value, engineering capacity, and business impact.

• Define product requirements, epics, user stories, and success metrics.

• Partner closely with Engineering to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

• Work with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to support successful product launches.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Product Management experience within enterprise software or SaaS.

• Experience building cloud-native enterprise platforms.

• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, software development, and Agile methodologies.

• Proven ability to translate customer requirements into successful products.

• Experience collaborating with Engineering, UX, Product Marketing, and Customer Success organizations.

• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

• Define and launch the Unified Hybrid FinOps product strategy and roadmap.

• Deliver AI-powered capabilities that improve cloud financial management and engineering decision making.

• Increase customer adoption of Hybrid FinOps and VCFOps capabilities.

• Improve alignment between cloud investments, engineering execution, and business outcomes.

• Establish measurable product KPIs for customer adoption, usage, value realization, and business impact.

• Position the Unified Hybrid FinOps platform as a strategic pillar within the ValueOps portfolio.
