Product Manager - SAP Procurement
Sap India Private LimitedJob Description
Product Specialist / Product Manager, SAP Procurement, Product Management
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What you’ll build:
In this role, you'll drive successful delivery and continuous improvement of the Procurement product suite by turning business strategy and customer needs into high-value product capabilities. You'll work closely with Product Management, UX, Engineering, and QA to define requirements, prioritize and maintain a backlog, plan releases, and ensure development teams have clear, ready-to-execute work.
You'll be responsible for delivering features that improve procurement processes, enhance user experience, and maximize business value and ROI. Your work will directly impact on customer satisfaction, product adoption, and the organization's ability to bring innovative solutions to market efficiently.
You'll solve challenges related to product prioritization, requirement clarity, release readiness, and cross-functional alignment while proactively identifying and removing obstacles that could affect delivery. In partnership with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams, you'll pursue opportunities to enhance product functionality and address evolving business needs.
As a subject matter expert, you'll also help customers and internal teams understand and adopt new features through presentations, webinars, workshops, and industry events. Through strong collaboration and execution, you'll play a key role in delivering successful product outcomes and advancing the growth of the Procurement portfolio.
What you bring:
We're seeking a collaborative product professional with experience in B2B SaaS product management, ideally within Procurement or Supplier Management solutions. Success in this role comes from the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, manage and prioritize backlogs, and support agile delivery through releases. Strong business and technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, UX, and QA teams are essential. A growth mindset, comfort with ambiguity, customer focus, and a hands-on approach are highly valued. Experience facilitating customer engagement, workshops, or enablement activities is a plus. A degree in business, engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
Where you belong:
SAP Procurement is SAP’s strategic suite of solutions designed to help organizations manage their procurement and sourcing processes efficiently. It enables businesses to automate purchasing, optimize supplier relationships, and control spending while ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Our team is spread across Europe, North America, and Asia and is responsible for outbound and inbound product management and for driving SAP Procurement’s strategy to defining requirements and executing them with engineering.
