We’re looking for a motivated Automation Developer to join our team. You’ll design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure our software’s quality. The ideal candidate has strong Java skills, experience with Selenium/Playwright, and a passion for building reliable automation solutions. We expect our engineers to actively leverage AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) as a force multiplier in their day-to-day work — from test case generation and script authoring to root cause analysis and documentation. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Java and Selenium. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define testing strategies. 

• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation. 

• Continuously improve automation frameworks and test coverage. 

• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. 

• Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle. 

• Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate test script authoring, code generation, and framework development. 

• Use AI-assisted tools to generate, review, and optimize test cases from requirements, user stories, or existing documentation. 

• Apply AI-driven analysis to interpret test results, identify failure patterns, and prioritize defects for faster resolution. 

What to Have for this position: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing. 

• Proven experience in automation testing with a focus on Java and Selenium. 

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

• Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) in a professional software engineering or QA context. 

• Strong ability to craft effective prompts and evaluate AI-generated output critically — understanding its limitations and validating results before use. 

Advantageous Skills: 

• Solid knowledge of SQL for database testing and validation. 

• Experience with frontend development, particularly with React. 

• Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, and Playwright. 

• Experience integrating AI-generated test cases into existing automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. 

• Familiarity with prompt engineering principles and ability to build reusable prompt templates for QA workflows (e.g. defect summarization, test scenario expansion). 

• Awareness of AI testing tools and platforms such as Testim, Applitools, Mabl, or similar AI-augmented test management solutions. 

Big Advantages: 

• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js for building scalable and efficient automation solutions. 

• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing of web applications. 

• Proven track record of using AI tools to meaningfully reduce test authoring time or increase test coverage — with tangible examples to share during the interview process. 

• Experience building or contributing to an AI-powered QA pipeline — e.g. automated test generation from Jira stories, LLM-assisted regression triage, or AI-based visual regression testing. 

• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts — understanding how autonomous AI agents can be orchestrated for continuous testing, monitoring, and self-healing test suites.
