Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires applying comprehensive business and functional insights to design and implement thorough testing strategies. This includes overseeing the testing process from start to finish, managing test execution, and resolving defects efficiently to maintain the integrity and performance of the application. Collaboration and strategic oversight are key elements in driving continuous improvement and achieving project goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure consistent delivery standards.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to align quality objectives with project timelines.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Core Banking.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles and testing methodologies applicable to banking applications.
- Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software systems.
- Ability to analyze and interpret business and functional requirements to develop effective testing solutions.
- Skilled in managing defect lifecycle and ensuring timely resolution to maintain software quality.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to drive performance and collaboration.

Additional Information:

- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
