Quality Manager, VP
Join us as a Quality Manager
- We’ll look to you to provide direction and leadership on all quality matters across the platform or domain, including adoption and compliance with the bank’s standards and policies
- This is an opportunity to act as a key contributor in making sure that work packages transition seamlessly from development into live environments

What you'll do
In this key role, you’ll be making sure that only well designed and built work packages get through quality testing. You’ll aim to get it right first time for our customers through innovative service and solutions, using automation as an accelerator and working closely with stakeholders in an Agile and collaborative environment.
We’ll also look to you to produce comprehensive and robust quality strategies and detailed quality test plans, enabling the continual flow of work packages across the domain, platform value stream or programme.
Additionally, you’ll be:
- Undertaking end-to-end test management including planning, risk, issue, dependency management, lessons learnt and governance
- Working in conjunction with quality automation specialists in writing automated tests and analysing the results
- Executing tests on a continuous basis triggered automatically by change events and minimising the execution time for the automated tests in order to obtain quick feedback
- Understanding the customer and human centric designs and driving the quality of the teams work to constantly improve the solutions and enhance customer experiences
- Making sure defects are detected and prioritised, based on impact, and resolved at the earliest possible moment, ensuring customer outcomes are delivered right first time
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with deep knowledge of quality assurance practices, quality engineering standards, and testing methodologies across both manual and automated testing. You’ll also need experience leading multiple testing disciplines, including AI/data validation, automation, and software quality assurance
You’ll also need experience of systems development lifecycle, along with experience of delivering testing activities in a technology or IT function.
Additionally, we’ll be looking for:
- Strong knowledge of modern QA standards, testing best practices, and enterprise risk and control frameworks
- Proven proficiency in AI/ML testing
- Experience in CI/CD, DevOps practices, and pipeline‑embedded testing
- Experience in functional and non-functional testing such as system, system integration, user, load, volume, stress, security, accessibility, compatibility, penetration and back-out
- Experience of shaping quality strategy, planning test phases, and governing execution across large programmes
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and management
- Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
