Huron’s Resource Management (RM) team members are trusted strategic advisors to our business leaders, delivering solutions that balance the needs of our people, our company, and our clients. The team delivers high quality staffing solutions that ensure proper alignment of resources to projects, optimizes utilization, and supports career development for employees. We provide unique perspectives through data-informed insights and foster deep, collaborative, and consultative relationships with the stakeholders we engage.
The Resource Management Analyst will support our Resource Management function by ensuring data accuracy, assisting in pre-staffing processes, and providing analytical support for reporting as needed. Working closely with the Resource Management Lead (India) and other team members, this role helps maintain smooth pre-staffing operations across the organization. The position offers a great opportunity to learn core operational processes and contribute to a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
This role also requires close collaboration with colleagues in the US and demands flexibility to work during evening IST hours to align with US working hours [till 11am CT].
Required:
- Salesforce Opportunity Management: Review new and open project opportunities in Salesforce on a daily basis to prepare for staffing. Check each opportunity for complete and accurate information – for example, verify that pricing tools are attached, dates are correct, and no opportunities have lapsed past due dates. Proactively follow up on any missing information or discrepancies.
- Data Coordination: Liaise with Project Support teams and Scope Owners to clarify and update opportunity details in Salesforce. Ensure that all project and resource data is captured correctly, minimizing errors and omissions in the system.
- Resource Planning in Workday: Load and maintain resource plans/forecasts in Workday based on confirmed project details from Salesforce. Make sure that resource allocation data (e.g. staffing assignments, project durations, etc.) is entered accurately and kept up-to-date in Workday.
- Resource Administration Support: Assist the Resource Management team in daily administration of resource data and scheduling. This includes:
- Monitoring resource availability (PTO, holidays, other absences) and ensuring these are factored into resource forecasts.
- Undertaking additional operational tasks in support of Resource Management priorities as they arise.
- Reporting: Contribute to regular reporting and ad-hoc analysis for resource management.
- Track resource utilization metrics and generate utilization reports. Highlight instances of under-utilization or over-utilization of staff and provide context or explanation (e.g. project delays, ramp-up time, etc.).
- Monitor “shadow” hours and investment hours logged on projects (non-billable or internal project time) across different teams. Provide insights or summaries of these hours and follow up with project owners for clarification when necessary.
- Support any ad-hoc data requests or analysis needed by the Resource Management Lead or leadership team.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders at various levels to gather information or resolve data issues.
- Experience working in a team setting; collaborative with a willingness to learn from others. Should be able to work under guidance as well as independently when required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Proactive approach to meeting deadlines is essential.
