Roles & responsibilities

The Supplier Management Centre of Excellence (CoE) is responsible for the firm’s Supplier Management framework and its implementation. The Supplier Management CoE Support role is essential for driving framework adoption and guiding associated CoE activities.

Execution:

Supporting SRM CoE's strategic delivery in coordination with Supplier Commercial Leads and the Head of Supplier Service and Governance OperationsContinuously improving the Supplier Management Framework, including training materials and toolkitsManaging supplier management data and coordinating updates from Supplier ManagersSupporting strategic supplier relationships through joint account planning, risk assessment, contract reviews, and business meetings with key suppliersAssisting in managing and developing the internal supplier management platform (Microsoft PowerApp) and PowerBI reportingEnhancing SRM programme metrics reporting, covering performance, risk, spend versus budget, and innovation activityDeveloping SRM CoE communications and training programmesCollaborating with the CoE Lead on risk management approachesCoordinating SRM responses to firm initiatives or emerging risks impacting third partiesTracking programme benefits, aligning with Finance, and supporting the SRM business caseEnsuring implementation of controls in line with processesDelivering high-quality SRM advisory services to stakeholdersWorking with Sustainable Procurement Lead/Manager to integrate sustainable procurement objectivesFacilitating executive engagement with Tier 1 suppliers, ensuring strategic and value-driven relationships

Building Relationships:

Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing supportServe as a trusted business advisor to various functionsCollaborate closely with Procurement category teams, bridging sourcing and supplier management

Programme Management:

Utilize strong programme and project management skills to deploy the supplier management programme effectivelyManage pressure and conflicting requirements while ensuring excellent client service

Team Player:

Contribute to the procurement agenda and promote best practice supplier managementMentor less experienced supplier managers and business operations teams

Accountability:

Deliver project responsibilities and contribute to benefit targetsServe as the single point of contact for SRM policies and cross-KBS supplier performance reporting

Building Relationships:

Influence stakeholder decision-making, promoting supplier management and sustainable practices
