Senior Associate Director-KDNI
The Director – HRBP (BU Lead) is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the people strategy for a Business Unit within the KPMG Delivery Network. The role partners directly with BU leadership to enable business transformation, workforce scalability, talent optimization, and a high-performance culture aligned to KPMG values and global HR frameworks.
This role acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving strategic HR initiatives across workforce planning, leadership development, organization design, employee engagement, succession planning, and change management within a fast-growing global delivery environment.
Strategic HR Partnership
- Act as the primary HR advisor to BU leaders, enabling delivery of short- and long-term business objectives through effective people strategy
- Translate BU strategy into actionable HR priorities, aligned with KPMG global HR policies and delivery network goals
- Provide strategic counsel on organizational effectiveness, operating models, and workforce transformation
Workforce Planning & Talent Strategy
- Lead strategic workforce planning including capability building, pyramid optimization, location strategy, and scalability planning
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to plan and execute hiring strategies for niche, digital, and emerging skills
- Drive critical talent identification, succession planning, and bench strength for leadership and critical roles
Organization Design & Change Management
- Lead complex org design and restructuring initiatives supporting growth, efficiency, and global integration
- Provide HR leadership during large-scale change initiatives including M&A integrations, automation, and new service setups
- Ensure change adoption through structured communication, leader enablement, and change interventions
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Drive a consistent and differentiated employee experience across the BU
- Leverage engagement survey insights to design and execute targeted action plans
- Oversee culture-building initiatives aligned to inclusion, wellbeing, and KPMG values
Performance, Rewards & Governance
- Partner with leadership on performance management, goal setting, and productivity metrics
- Ensure fair and consistent implementation of compensation, promotions, and rewards programs
- Provide governance on employee relations, policy interpretation, risk mitigation, and compliance
Leadership & Team Development
- Coach and challenge senior leaders to build inclusive, high-performing teams
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR Business Partners and HR specialists
- Build HR capability in consulting mindset, data-driven decision making, and stakeholder management
Education
- Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Experience
- 15–20+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior HRBP or HR leadership role
- Strong experience supporting large-scale delivery, consulting, technology, or professional services organizations
- Proven track record in partnering with senior leadership in complex, matrixed global environments
- Experience in global delivery/shared services models strongly preferred
