Senior Associate-Resource Management-US Business Tax

DescriptionSupport the Business•Provide accurate data analytics, forecasts and recommended actions to drive business decisions. •Advisor of scheduling technology.•Understands and knows how to interpret data or key metrics relevant to engagement teams and/or business leaders to ensure accuracy and provide real-time visibility into availability and workforce distribution for improved forecasting, planning, and service delivery.•Provide business and/or RM leaders with accurate and timely insights (review/investigation of utilization results, forecast trends, availability) •Identifies best practices among resource management processes to optimize staffing approach (i.e., leverage of Power BI, standardized communications).•Present RM leads and business leaders with holistic staffing plans to meet business demands. Optimize Talent Channels•Assess size, skills of talent channels to meet demand.•Analyzes key metrics and monitors employee pipeline and staff progress towards chargeable goals, including analysis of under/over utilized staff. •Multi-channel resourcing strategies to optimize   engagement team quality and improve margin.•Assist with cross-staffing opportunities within corresponding vertical and/or service line. •Review and assessment of appropriate resource leverage across engagements (existing & new hires, tax shared services) •Review new hire placeholders in the scheduling tool, ensure reconciliation with actual resource names or new hires once identified or onboarded, and manage these placeholders effectively. •Review DL names for accuracy in CertiniaSource Engagements•Long-term scheduling process and advisement•Manages staffing allocation and works with engagement teams to ensure appropriate staffing and maximized utilization during the long-term scheduling and throughout the year.•Validate demand to include level and time phasing refer to prior year details for type of entity and skills requirements.•Proactively identifies scheduling conflicts and/or availability and uses independent judgment to take steps to resolve.  •Implements staffing strategies with engagement teams to improve resource leverage and/or maximizing utilization across vertical / service line.   •Proactively identifying and managing ongoing shifts in engagement needs throughout the year and communicate promptly.Support Our People•Enhance the experience and development of our people in the tax practice.•Understands the skills and career goals of client facing professionals to support employee retention by conducting one-on-one check-ins. •Foster seamless collaboration between offshore and onshore teams to ensure consistent delivery.•Collaborate with managers on staffing allocations to ensure optimal staff experience and engagement requirements / priorities are met.  Roles and Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with RM policies and procedures, deployment process etc.Monitor and evaluate demand fulfilment options, assign projects to the available workforce based on skills and experience required oj the projectResponsible for working with the BU RM managers in implementing the resource management process, long term & short term deployment plan and operational efficiency within the business.Work very closely with the service delivery teams to track, monitor, record and analyze demand pipeline projections, staffing needs etc.Perform demand-supply searches and share best fit staffing options from internal teams and cross utilization pool.Supervise, train and assign responsibility to associates within the team.Identify suitable staffing options based on matching skills, roles and responsibilities.Review of team schedule and optimum distribution of workload or hours and conflict resolution.Responsible to track, monitor CFP KPI-Annual goal hours, utilization.Regular connect with Client facing professionals, stake holders.Qualifications:Degree / PG (B. Com., BBA, M.Com.) / MBA with 4-6 years of experience in resource managementBehavioral / team skillsWilling to work hard, enthusiastic, and self-motivated. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Diligent and detail oriented.Flexible.Effective communication skills.Effective coordination and collaborative skills.Efficient use of technology and systems–Resource Management tools, Scheduling tools and Reports.Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerpointStrong time management and analytical skills
