Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend / Platform Engineer with 8+ years of hands‑on experience in designing and building scalable, cloud‑native systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and system integrations using APIs and microservices. This role requires deep technical ownership, system design skills, and a strong inclination toward modern DevOps and AI‑assisted development practices.

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud Services
• Hands‑on expertise in CI/CD pipelines
• Strong system integration experience using APIs, microservices, and cloud services

Detailed Job Requirements

Programming & Backend Development

• Strong experience in one or more programming languages:
  • Java / Spring Boot (preferred)
  • Python
  • JavaScript
• Expertise in building scalable, resilient backend systems

Microservices & DevOps

• Proven experience in microservices architecture
• Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including:
  • GitHub Actions
  • Artifactory
  • HashiCorp Vault

Cloud & Containerization

• Experience deploying applications on container orchestration platforms:
  • Kubernetes / EKS
  • ECS
• Hands‑on experience integrating AWS services such as:
  • SQS
  • SNS
  • Apache Kafka
  • AWS networking and compute services (EC2, VPC, Load Balancers)

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Experience deploying AWS resources using Infrastructure as Code, including:
  • CloudFormation
  • Terraform

API & Security

• Proficient in API‑led design using OpenAPI specifications
• Strong experience in REST API implementation
• Proficient in SSO and authentication mechanisms, including:
  • OAuth 2.0
  • OpenID Connect
  • JWT
  • SAML

Testing & Quality Engineering

• Experience with test automation frameworks, such as:
  • Selenium
  • Cucumber / SpecFlow
  • Playwright
  • Cypress
  • Provar
• Strong understanding of:
  • Test‑Driven Development (TDD)
  • Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD)
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks:
  • JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, Maven, .NET
• Provar experience and Salesforce product knowledge are highly desirable

Logging, Monitoring & Observability

• Experience with logging and monitoring frameworks such as:
  • Observe
  • Obstack
  • Prometheus

Agile & Engineering Practices

• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, iterative development environments
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills

AI & Modern Developer Tooling (Highly Desirable)

• Strong interest in researching and adopting AI‑assisted development tools
• Active usage of AI coding assistants such as:

• Knowledge of or hands‑on experience with:
