Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Senior Engineer - Electrical - Buildings Services to join our organization in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems for commercial and institutional buildings. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality building services solutions while ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. • Design and analyze electrical systems for buildings, including power distribution, lighting, fire safety, and HVAC integration
• Develop comprehensive electrical specifications and technical documentation using industry-standard software and tools
• Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate existing electrical infrastructure and identify optimization opportunities
• Ensure all designs and installations comply with Indian electrical codes, IEC standards, and local building regulations
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into building designs
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and performance feedback
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate procurement of electrical equipment and materials
• Perform energy audits and recommend sustainable electrical solutions to enhance building efficiency
• Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and presentations for stakeholders and project teams
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, specifically in buildings services or facility management
• 3+ years in a senior or leadership role with demonstrated ability to manage teams and projects
• Strong expertise in electrical systems design, including power distribution, lighting design, fire safety systems, and HVAC integration
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, electrical design software, and building information modeling (BIM) tools
• In-depth knowledge of Indian electrical codes, IEC standards, and building regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize complex electrical systems
• Strong project management capabilities with experience delivering large-scale commercial or institutional projects
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities with excellent interpersonal skills
• Advanced technical knowledge of energy management systems and sustainable building practices
• Experience with electrical simulation and analysis tools
• Familiarity with renewable energy systems and integration into building infrastructure
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear technical documentation
• Professional certification in electrical engineering or related field (preferred)
