Senior Manager - Product Marketing

About the team & role:

  • This is a high-impact, new role within our Superior GTM & Product Strategy team. You will join a high-growth area of Rubrik’s industry product marketing, focused on tailoring our data security message to our customers. 
  • As a Senior Manager - Product Marketing based in Bangalore, you will drive the go-to-market strategy for critical industry verticals. You will be the primary point of contact for global campaigns in EMEA and APJ, ensuring our messaging resonates with the unique regulatory and security needs of our customers.
  • In this role, you will drive the go-to-market execution and release marketing for a diverse portfolio of industries. You will act as the primary marketing lead for industries in EMEA and APJ, developing messaging and content to communicate Rubrik's value proposition effectively. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining industry-specific digital assets and content repositories while supporting the long-term strategic messaging that positions Rubrik as a leader in global data security.

What you'll do:

  • Management: Manage a team of product marketing managers on-site in the Bangalore office. 
  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Develop impactful product messaging and positioning that communicates Rubrik's value proposition effectively to different industries
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Work with the product, sales, and broader marketing teams to create and execute successful GTM plans for new launches and product updates, targeting industry product solutions
  • Content Creation: Produce a variety of content, including sales enablement tools, product collateral, customer case studies, webinars, blogs, and whitepapers that highlight our industry solutions
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer pain points specific to industries to inform messaging, product roadmap, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop training materials, battlecards, and product demonstrations to empower sales teams with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively sell Rubrik's industry solutions
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the Sales, Customer Success and Product teams to gather customer insights, use cases, and feedback to refine product messaging and build customer advocacy.

Experience you’ll need:

  • 12+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in cybersecurity, cloud, or SaaS environments, with a focus on industry marketing
  • Strong understanding of regulated industries, market dynamics, and customer challenges.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of people management experience, including leading high-performing teams and managing direct reports.
  • Proven track record in developing compelling product messaging and sales enablement content.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage market data and customer insights to inform strategy.

Working Hours: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
