Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading a large product or multiple smaller products/components and owns complete software lifecycle including activities such as but not limited to requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation/procedures and support.

• Typically, a 1st line manager of professionals working in the areas of Analytics, Cloud, platform and/or applications. Provide technical, people, and process leadership to the team

• Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure on time, high quality delivery within area of responsibility.

• Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate the product in the market

• Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. 

• Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses internal and external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains difficult or sensitive information to Leadership; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with 15+ years of experience.

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive operationalization of products and help teams to transform processes through process and technology

• Excellent communication, influencing skills, and ability to gain acceptance for initiatives

• Demonstrated vendor interface skills

• Demonstrated ability to achieve results while working on multiple competing modules simultaneously, balancing resources, schedule and quality of results

• Hands on experience working with database technologies, including Oracle, SAP, SQL / NoSQL platforms, visualization applications such as Spotfire or Tableau

• Hands on experience on Java/JEE, Spring, REST, Kubernetes, Docker

• Good domain exposure - DICOM, HL7, Image Ingestion, Radiology workflows

• Hands-on Cloud experience, preferably AWS
