Senior Manager - Traction Electromechanical Systems

Roles, Responsibilities, & Key Deliverables

 

• Design and Development  of PMSM, Synch Reluctance motor, Switched Reluctance motor, Induction Motor for e 3 Wheelers/Cargo
• Expertise in Electromagnetics simulation using ANSYS/Maxwell/MotorCAD 2D/3D, Thermal Analysis, Structural Analysis
• Selection of magnet materials, lamination stack, winding configurations, and shaft design
• Optimize motor performance parameters: torque, efficiency, power density, thermal limits
• Analyze NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) behaviour, Torque ripple, Cogging torque
• Lead prototype development, and Testing, by cross functional collaboration with CDMM and Suppliers
• Work Closely with vendors for stator winding, rotor assembly, magnet bonding and Lamination
• Ensure DFM/DFA, Prepare EOL, and meets quality Standards for Pilot and mass production
• Good Knowledge on electormagnetic Theory, and Motor Control is Preferred
• Co-Ordinate with motor controller team for Motor controller tuning and Matching
• Expertise in design verification of motor with Motor Control software at dyno motor testing, vehicle level software calibration, torque functions management
• Experience in Automotive domain documentation in SoR, DVPR, DFMEA, and Software release management etc.
• Require good knowledge on regulations requirements and testing according to the requirements both at component level and vehicle level
