Senior Product Manager
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of a Risk Rating application supporting credit risk assessment and decisioning. This role will be responsible for defining and evolving risk rating capabilities, ensuring alignment with credit policy, regulatory expectations, and business objectives.
The ideal candidate brings strong credit risk domain expertise, including borrower quality and collateral ratings, a proven product management background, and hands‑on experience applying Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance risk analysis, automation, explainability, and user productivity within a highly governed environment.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in product management initiatives and deliverables for product lines or services
- Contribute to product analysis across applicable markets, conduct market research and market results-oriented analysis
- Review and analyze marketing programs for new products or enhancements including identification of market segments, product positioning, product bundling, pricing and profitability
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet project goals, objectives and deliverables
- Ensure programs adhere to compliance, privacy regulations and policies
- Collaborate and consult with managers, analysts and project teams to ensure that goals are achieved
- Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Product Management experience, product development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in retail Lending, Syndicated lending, Leasing or any financial domain.
- 4+ years of product management / product owner experience (product development, strategic planning, process management, or change delivery).
- 3+ years of Agile delivery experience, including writing user stories/acceptance criteria and participating in Agile ceremonies.
- Experience in commercial lending domain (e.g., lending products/services) and ability to work with multiple stakeholders across business and technology.
- Experience with work management tools and defect tracking (e.g., JIRA/ALM) and translating requirements into executable delivery plans.
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior leaders and operate independently under timelines and dependencies.
- Role-specific requirement: Demonstrated proficiency in Power BI / reporting / analytics product delivery, aligned to the Loan IQ View product owner need
- Serve as Product Owner for 1–2 Agile development teams, owning backlog, prioritization, and execution aligned to roadmap and OKRs.
- Translate business needs into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and drive outcomes through Agile ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retros).
- Partner with technology delivery leaders and scrum teams to deliver effective, consistent results across the product lifecycle.
- Own product direction and delivery for Loan IQ View reporting, including dashboards, reporting enhancements, and prioritized defect/feature intake.
- Apply strong Power BI/reporting expertise to define requirements, validate solutions, and ensure data-driven reporting meets user expectations.
- Act as a key liaison across business users, operations, and technology partners; drive alignment on priorities, scope, and release outcomes.
- Make decisions in complex, multi-faceted situations considering business value, dependencies, and regulatory impact.
- Support risk management expectations by ensuring appropriate controls, documentation, and traceability across deliverables.
- Support product discovery using data, insights, and feedback to identify and prioritize new opportunities, features, and fixes.
- Drive continuous improvement in backlog quality, delivery predictability, and product maturity through metrics and disciplined execution.

- Experience coordinating requirements, testing, and implementation for medium-to-large enterprise initiatives with multiple dependencies.
- Knowledge of data conversion efforts and testing/validation methodologies (relevant for Loan IQ platform release cycles).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- SQL skills to support data investigation/validation for reporting outputs and issue analysis.
- Familiarity with Loan IQ data model / reporting constructs is a plus
