• Location: Bengaluru IPEC India

Job Summary :
You will be part of an international team giving CAE support for the product development department and application
simulation teams. Your responsibility is to develop material and damage cards, to run finite element analysis in the fields of
structural mechanics & dynamics and to assess the lifetime of structures based on your simulation results. You collaborate with
the material development department, the testing department and external partners to validate your simulation methods.

Major Job Responsibilities:

– Development of material and damage cards for FE simulations

– Finite element analysis in the field of structural mechanics and dynamics

– Lifetime assessment based on simulation results and engineering guidelines

– Support of turbocharger product development programs

Work Experience/Skills:

– Master in Mechanical Engineering

– Expert knowledge in the fields of mechanics of solid structures, dynamics and fatigue

– Experienced user of engineering guidelines for lifetime assessment, e.g. FKM guideline, VDI2230

– Expert skills in using the CAE softwares Ansys, Abaqus and HyperWorks

– Good German language skills are preferred
