Subject Matter Expert - AMXL Operations and Systems

AMXL team is responsible for edifice & drive the next generation Operation instrumentation for Amazon’s Heavy and bulky business to deliver best in class customer experience and other soon-to-launch exciting new businesses. with planned expansion, we expect volume to grow several orders of magnitude this year and in the future. Key job responsibilities
As domain expert and consultant for all system/process queries, you are expected to
a.SME for AFTX/FaaST as the SPOC for AMXL business catering to solving issues with system and related API for IB (VAST, ePOD etc) and OB (MTR, Rodeo among others). Seek out right teams to raise SIMs, work on resolution with speed.
b.Domain interface to external (AFT/Trans/Category/SnOP) teams on system or process related issues. Owning mechanisms of updates, blurbs in MBRs towards systemic changes and progress on plans.
c.Network level best practice identification, design and standardization. Benchmarking with NA/IN ops on processes, executing must haves and owning up OP asks.
d.Working with network SME to follow up on critical ticket (Sev 3 and above) for resolution.
f.Process owner of new tools and/or process design related to AFTX / FaaST
g.Serve as the interface between network SME and FC to drive execution of software/process changes
h.Provide learning and development support for new hire managers
i.Manage the system configuration change and optimization within FC control scope
j.Provide data analysis to support FC process health checks through standardized tools
k.Improve end-user documentation in consultation with network SME to reduce associate and Manager learning curve

Basic Qualifications

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in running SQL queries and data mining
- 3+ years of team management experience
- 3+ years of project/program management experience
- 1+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- Bachelor's degree within last 12 months in Engineering, Technology, Science, Operations Research, Robotics, Mathematics or related fields, or a Associate's degree and experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary or affiliate

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA, or Master's degree
