Role Overview: 

As a Software Engineer 3 (IN3) at Walmart Global Tech India, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and deployment of full stack applications, with a strong emphasis on front-end engineering. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that enhance Walmart’s data-driven capabilities.

What You Will Do:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of robust front-end applications using React and TypeScript.

• Build scalable front-end solutions, including advanced state management and component modularization.

• Integrate front-end applications with backend services via REST APIs and GraphQL.

• Contribute to backend development and ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment processes.

• Identify and address code smells, enforce coding best practices, and participate in code reviews.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites using popular TypeScript testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Testing Library).

• Stay current with emerging technologies, especially in the TypeScript and AI agentic framework ecosystems.

• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack or Front-End Engineer, with a strong focus on front-end development.

• Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, and front-end architecture (state management, component design, etc.).

• Good understanding of microfrontend and federated frontend module architectures (nice to have).

• Solid experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL integration.

• Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, Express, or similar) and database fundamentals.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and code quality practices.

• Proficiency with TypeScript testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Testing Library, etc.).

• Strong grasp of coding best practices and code review processes.

• Knowledge of TypeScript-based AI agentic frameworks is a significant plus.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
