About the Job

The Solution Engineer is primarily required to support and perform routine database administration tasks on a backlog revenue service order jobs. In addition, the engineer will be required to update and modify the scripts of SQL or.net application of UOC-T modules for the enhancement needs of our install base customers as well as future customers.

The successful incumbent needs to have strong Security concepts and be multi-skilled in SQL,.net scripting, networking, and AVEVA System Platform, showing competencies of persistency and problem trouble-shooting.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and implementing that control dynamic on TAS RDBMS, web services

• Prepare engineering documents using Microsoft Office / MS Visio, such as functional design specification (FDS), schematics, commissioning procedure, loop diagram, etc.

• Handle customer, consultants and vendor on technical queries and clarifications

• Systems installation on VM, and other systems environment setup

Experience and skills requirements

• Bachelor in Engineering or professional degree qualifications in an Electronics & Communication or Computer Science gained industrial experience on 3 -5 years in the database application and web page development area

• Deep knowledge and experience in MSSQL administration and scripting, ​SQL report modification

• Knowledge of System installations, Creating Virtual Machines, network services and its configuration – this includes LAN, WLAN, VPN, and more

• Moderate experience in handling of customer, consultant & vendor for responding the technical queries and clarifications

• Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities – as graphical modelling and simulations are a core part this role.

• Good communication is essential in this customer fronting role

• Enjoy problem solving in most efficiently as possible and in a way that delivers on project objectives
