Job Title SAP S4HANA ABAP Consultant

Experience Level 4-5 Years S4HANA specific

Role Objective

The SAP S4HANA ABAP Consultant will be responsible for the technical execution of S4HANA projects You will lead the custom code remediation process develop highperformance objects using the HANA native paradigm CDS AMDP and ensure a seamless transition from legacy ECC systems to S4HANA

Key Responsibilities

1 S4HANA Migration Conversion

Custom Code Remediation Analyze and adapt existing ECC custom code for S4HANA compatibility using SAP Readiness Check ABAP Test Cockpit ATC and SCMON

Simplification List Impact Remediate code impacted by the S4HANA Simplification List eg MATNR length extension Business Partner conversion Data Model changes like BSEGACDOCA

System Upgrade Support Handle technical activities during conversion cycles including SPDDSPAUSPAUENH adjustments

2 Core Technical Development RICEFW

HANANative Development Design and develop Core Data Services CDS Views and ABAP Managed Database Procedures AMDP to leverage the power of the HANA database

Modern Programming Models Implementation experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model RAP or BOPF

OData Services Develop and extend OData services SEGW for Fiori integration

Traditional ABAP Expertise in ObjectOriented ABAP OOPS BAdIs User Exits Enhancements and BAPIs

3 Performance Optimization

Conduct SQL performance tuning and code optimization for the HANA database using SQL Trace ST05 and Runtime Analysis SAT

Ensure all developments follow the Clean Core strategy and SAP Best Practices

Required Skills Qualifications

S4HANA Experience Minimum 47 years of handson experience in S4HANA environments

Migration Cycles Must have participated in at least two endtoend migrationconversion projects Brownfield or Greenfield

Tools Proficiency in Eclipse ADT SAP Migration Cockpit and ATC

Functional Knowledge Basic understanding of functional modules FI SD to assist in technical mapping and debugging

Methodology Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology and Agile delivery environments

Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

SAP Certified Development Specialist ABAP for SAP HANA

Knowledge of MDGFioriUI5 development is a significant plus

Performance Indicators KPIs

Successful completion of Code Remediation with zero critical errors postgolive

Timely delivery of RICEF objects during the Realize phase of the migration

Optimization of custom reports to achieve significant performance gains on the HANA DB
