Sr Project Manager

Job Purpose and Impact

Global tax authorities are rapidly mandating e-Invoicing legislation, requiring organizations to comply with new standards for sending and receiving invoices. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring Cargill meets these mandates and remains tax compliant across multiple countries. 

In this role, you will lead the implementation of Cargill’s standard e-Invoicing solutions, partnering with business enterprises and the DT&D organization. You will drive efforts to understand new country requirements, identify gaps, design solutions, and deliver timely implementations. Acting as the central coordinator, you will align multiple delivery teams within the e-Invoicing program, manage dependencies, and ensure readiness across impacted processes and data. Additionally, you will facilitate stakeholder communication and training to enable smooth adoption and long-term success. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead e-Invoicing Implementations: Manage the end-to-end delivery of Cargill’s standard e-Invoicing solutions to meet global tax compliance requirements. This includes developing and maintaining the project plan, managing the project budget, and regularly measuring and monitoring progress against milestones. Ensure timely delivery, adherence to scope, and alignment with program objectives while proactively addressing risks and issues. Managing project initiatives and features in JIRA.
  • Coordinate Across Teams: Align multiple delivery teams, manage dependencies, and maintain clear communication within the e-Invoicing program. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide guidance, communication, and training to impacted businesses to ensure readiness and successful adoption. 
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate as needed to keep projects on track including the financials. 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field  
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience successfully leading complex projects on the business and technology side  
  • Strong previous experience working with finance teams 
  • Experience leading Agile product teams with competence in JIRA 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed intercultural competence 
  • Communication language is English 

 

Preferred 

  • PMP certification
  • Project change management and stakeholder management experience
